About this role
NSF is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Benefits, to lead the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of NSF's global benefits programs. This role will partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to deliver market-competitive programs that support our employees while ensuring regulatory compliance and financial sustainability.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Design
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of employee benefits programs across multiple countries and regions that are aligned with organizational goals and Total Rewards philosophy
- Evaluate and enhance benefit offerings to ensure competitiveness, employee value, and alignment with organizational goals
- Ensure programs remain competitive through ongoing benchmarking and market analysis
- Partner with regional HR leaders to address country-specific requirements and employee needs
Compliance & Governance
- Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on global benefits regulations and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including ERISA, ACA, GDPR, and other international requirements.
- Manage audits, documentation, reporting, and benefit governance processes.
- Monitor legislative changes and assess impact on benefits programs
- Develop, review, and maintain the governance model and controls for global benefits practices
Financial Oversight & Analytics
- Develop and manage global benefits budget and forecasts in partnership with Senior Leadership and Finance
- Analyze program performance, utilization, and cost trends to identify efficiencies
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive cost-containment strategies while maintaining competitive offerings
Build Strong Partnerships
- Manage relationships with benefits brokers, consultants, third-party administrators, and other vendors
- Lead renewal processes, including negotiations, cost analysis, and plan optimization
- Ensure seamless implementation of new programs, mergers, acquisitions, and plan optimization
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure effective program administration and communication
Team Leadership
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global benefits team
Provide mentorship, coaching, and strategic direction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Legal, and Payroll
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive benefits experience, including global benefits responsibilities
- Experience designing, administering, and improving benefits programs across multiple countries
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and broker relationships
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation or equivalent certification
- Experience with executive benefits programs and deferred compensation plans
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions
- Knowledge of global mobility and expatriate program administration
- Experience working within a complex, matrixed global organization
