Description

The role will primarily support cases involving performance issues, disciplinary actions, layoffs/redundancy, company-initiated separations, and other employment matters with potential legal implications. This person will also review our existing HR policies, employment documents, agreements, and templates and recommend revisions as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review employee relations cases involving performance, attendance, misconduct, policy violations, and other disciplinary matters.
  • Support HR in company-initiated offboarding, including performance-related terminations, layoffs/redundancy, and other just or authorized causes.
  • Review and assist in preparing NTEs, disciplinary notices, termination notices, administrative hearing documentation, and related correspondence.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and due process requirements are followed before employment actions are implemented.
  • Support labor-related cases and coordinate with external legal counsel as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing case summaries, chronologies, evidence, and supporting documents for SEnA, DOLE, NLRC, and other labor proceedings.
  • Track active cases, deadlines, required submissions, and outstanding documentation.
  • Review employee handbooks, employment agreements, HR policies, acknowledgment forms, waivers, templates, and other employment-related documents.
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend revisions to policies, documents, and HR processes.
  • Maintain organized case files and standardized HR/legal templates.
  • Monitor relevant Philippine labor regulations and advise HR leadership of changes that may affect company policies or practices.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor law, due process requirements, disciplinary procedures, and termination processes.
  • Experience supporting SEnA, DOLE, or NLRC cases is highly preferred.
  • Experience reviewing employment contracts, employee handbooks, HR policies, disciplinary documents, and termination documentation.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and business writing skills.
  • Experience in a BPO, outsourcing, staffing, or offshore organization is an advantage.
