Job Summary
The Systems Support Technician provides technical support to employees and assists with the operation, maintenance, and performance of the Company's computer systems, ERP system, hardware, software, and IT resources. This position responds to user requests, troubleshoots technical issues, maintains system information, and help ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations.
Hourly Rate: $18.50 - $25.00 (DOE)
Schedule: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees by receiving, prioritizing, troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving IT-related requests.
- Assist with daily ERP system maintenance, data entry, data verification, reporting, and system monitoring.
- Monitor ERP systems, IT infrastructure, and related resources for performance, availability, and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, application, network, and system-related issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and resources.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade software, computers, peripherals, and applications as needed.
- Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recurring issues; escalate issues when additional technical support is required.
- Research technical issues using vendor resources, software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and other technical resources.
- Identify recurring problems and recommend solutions or process improvements to help prevent future issues.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service while supporting employees with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Prepare reports and documentation regarding IT resources, system performance, and related activities as requested by management.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Technical certification or equivalent training preferred.
- One year of IT or technical support experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Experience supporting ERP systems or business applications is a plus.

This position requires access to U.S. Munitions List (USML) technical data. Hence the individual must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident or otherwise be specifically authorized by a license from the U.S. government to have access to USML technical data.
