About this role

Power Platform & Application Development

  • Design, develop and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Develop complex business workflows and automation using Power Automate.
  • Build approval processes, notifications, audit trails, document workflows and process automation.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing Power Platform applications and workflows.
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

SharePoint Online Development

  • Design, develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions, sites, libraries, lists and content structures.
  • Manage SharePoint permissions, access controls and content management.
  • Develop and customise SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Develop custom web parts and extensions where required.
  • Support SharePoint migration, enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Database & System Integration

  • Integrate Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint solutions with Microsoft SQL Server, Dataverse and other business systems.
  • Develop and consume REST APIs for system integration.
  • Work with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365 services where required.
  • Assess existing solutions and recommend appropriate data architecture, including when to use SharePoint Lists, Dataverse or SQL Server.

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Lead technical design and solution architecture for assigned projects.
  • Recommend scalable, secure and maintainable solutions.
  • Review existing applications and identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability and sustainability.
  • Participate in application testing, deployment, documentation and post-implementation support.

Governance, Security & Support

  • Support Power Platform governance, including environments, DLP policies, security, connectors and ALM.
  • Ensure applications comply with security, data protection and organisational standards.
  • Manage SharePoint Online administration, permissions and access.
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow and Microsoft 365-related issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and junior team members.
  • Maintain technical documentation, development standards and user guides.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform development or related areas.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Power Apps
    • Microsoft Power Automate
    • SharePoint Online
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server, SQL queries and database concepts.
  • Experience with REST APIs and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of application development and solution design principles.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
