About this role
- Diagnose and Treat: Identify conditions like near-sightedness, astigmatism, glaucoma, and other ocular diseases.
- Prescribe Corrective Gear: Fit and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, or low-vision aids.
- Administer Care: Provide vision therapy, manage pre- and postoperative care for eye surgeries, and prescribe medications where state law allows.
- Health Referrals: Screen for general health issues like diabetes or high blood pressure and refer patients to medical specialists.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Optometry
- Experience: Fresh graduates and Senior Optometrists are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication, detailed record-keeping, and sharp decision-making abilities
- Working hours: Tue to Sat (8.30am-6pm); Sun (10am to 5pm)
