Data Centre - Commercial & Quantity Surveyor (Manager, Senior, Junior)

What you'll be doing

Pre-Contract

• Support project budget setup and feasibility studies
  
• Source, pre-qualify and evaluate tenderers
  
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  
• Analyse tender submissions and pretender estimates
  
• Support procurement — tender calling, tender reports, interviews, negotiation, award
  
• Prepare Letters of Award to contractors/subcontractors
  

Post-Contract

• Carry out site valuations and process monthly interim claims
  
• Review variation claims from contractors/subcontractors
  
• Monitor contractual status and cost control (including RFVOs)
  
• Prepare final accounts and cost/budget reports
  
• Attend site and client-consultant meetings for project coordination
  
• Advise on contractual claims and risk/value management
  

Leadership & Client Management (Manager level)

• Lead and mentor the QS team, manage performance and KPIs
  
• Own commercial issues across assigned projects; escalate risk where needed
  
• Negotiate and manage downstream contracts directly with clients
  
• Oversee sub-contractor/vendor payment claims and compliance
  
• Own procurement strategy and vendor relationships at project level
  

Junior Quantity Surveyor

• 0–2 years' experience; data centre or industrial factory exposure a plus
  
• Focus: take-offs, BQ preparation, site measurement, supporting claims prep
  
• Client contact: limited, works under supervision
  

Senior Quantity Surveyor

• 2+ years in fast-track projects, with data centre or industrial factory experience
  
• Focus: client liaison, negotiation, final accounts, mentoring juniors
  
• Client contact: direct and regular
  

Commercial Manager

• 10+ years' QS background with a track record of leading teams
  
• Focus: contract negotiation, team leadership, commercial risk ownership
  
• Client contact: primary point of contact
  

Requirements
