About this role

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Policies & Procedures Professional in U.S. Banks Non-Financial Risk to assist with drafting, reviewing and updating Bank Compliance policies, procedures, notices and manuals ensuring that the Banks' policy framework stays current, consistent and aligned with each Bank's Risk Governance Framework and heightened regulatory expectations. This position will report to the Bank
Compliance Head of Policies and Procedures.

In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a Director level position within the Bank NFR Strategy & Regulatory Oversight team which is responsible for advancing the U.S. Banks' non-financial risk agenda driving regulatory change management, governance and oversight of firmwide strategic initiatives, and the shared-services processes including policies, procedures and training that keep the Banks aligned with each Bank's Risk Governance Framework and heightened regulatory expectations.

What you'll do in the role:

- Partner with subject matter experts to collectively build content and develop and/or update Bank Non-Financial Risk policy and procedures;
- Research and grasp regulatory and legislative changes impacting the Banks and effectively be able to translate to Non-Financial Risk policies/procedures, as necessary;
- Support the Head of Policies & Procedures in setting standards, quality controls, and the annual policy review plan.
- Submit policies and procedures for review and approval and track and manage delivery timelines;
- Manage the incorporation of change based on feedback from subject matter experts and key stakeholders;
- Ensure the established method, consistency, style and terminology are kept standardized;
- Manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Contribute to the annual risk assessment; and
- Prepare policy materials for quarterly senior management and governance committees. What you'll bring to the role:

- Bachelor's degree required, J.D., MBA or CRCM a plus;
- Minimum 6 years of experience developing and editing policies and procedures;
- Thorough attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow up on outstanding items;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Must be able to effectively communicate and establish strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels of seniority and background;
- Ability to interview subject matter experts to determine impact to policies and procedures as well as integrate information derived from interviews into meaningful policies and procedures;
- Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadlines;
- Strong organization and time management skills; and
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
