You will participate in the daily activities of our warehouses in a safe way, including activities such as truck unloading, putting away, storing, picking, truck loading, stock counting.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Work in the warehousing, order picking, palletizing, loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Adhere to all safety and quality checks and specified rules
- Assemble and load product on delivery trucks accurately and in a timely manner
- Load product pallets following standard operating procedures in accordance with the daily delivery schedule
What you will bring

- Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced work environment and capable of the defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.).
- Forklift experience preferred
- Have or be able to obtain relevant licenses to operate equipment
- Able to Lift a minimum of 50 lbs./25kg

Major/Essential Responsibilities (% of time for each wherever possible)
Manage our Shuttle fleet through a supervisor/ lead hand and all production plant transportation requirements, Co-packing production and outside storage facilities.
Manage the shipping and receiving of all Green Road Customer Outbound and Inter-plant inbound shipments.
Provide direction to warehouse on all loading requirements including trailer assignment.
Responsible for maintaining the equipment in the Yard and keeping the transportation boards current.
Manage all Rush Orders ensuring that they are manually added to the daily log with follow up to PGI status.
Manage the site shunter for all movements, including the drop trailer pool.
Responsible for recording Carrier Pick Up On time and ensuring equipment available for loading by keeping in direct contact with core carriers.
Responsible for maintaining the Daily pick up log with all the carriers in and out times and the notification of any delays or issues.
Responsible for ensuring all deliveries shipped are Post goods issued.
Responsible for the filing of all BOL and pick slips.
Daily Shipped Report is viewed at the end of day , this is to ensure all deliveries are posted for the current date.
Daily update is sent to Team Leader on any no shows and any Transportation issues.
Complete Daily dock inspection for loads not shipped.
Knowledge and Skills
- Education
Min 3- 5 years experience - Logistics Field Post Secondary Education in Transportation related field.
- Experience / Skills
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Computer skills
- Team Building Leadership skills
- Flexibility with working hours
Salary and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $50 200 to $62 750 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 6% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
