Position

The Store Manager is the commercial and cultural leader of the boutique, accountable for business performance, exceptional client experiences, operational excellence, and the development of a high-performing team. Located within one of the region’s premier shopping and entertainment destinations, the boutique serves a diverse local, domestic, and international clientele. The Store Manager understands the luxury retail market, translates business insights into clear action plans, and creates an environment where clients and employees feel welcomed, engaged, and inspired. This role partners closely with Regional Leadership and cross-functional teams to execute company priorities, develop talent, and represent the Moncler brand inside and outside the boutique.


Your Impact

Business Leadership

  • Lead overall store performance, achieving sales, profitability, productivity, client development, and operational objectives.
  • Develop and execute store-specific business strategies in partnership with Regional Leadership, translating company priorities into clear action plans.
  • Analyze KPIs, traffic, inventory performance, client trends, and market opportunities to identify actions that drive sustainable results.
  • Drive continuous improvement across sales, conversion, UPT, CRM capture, productivity, repurchase rate, and inventory productivity.
  • Manage store expenses, payroll, and scheduling while maximizing productivity and profitability.

Client Experience & Client Development

  • Champion the Moncler Client Promise and ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional, personalized luxury experiences.
  • Maintain a highly visible presence on the sales floor through Client Experience Management, coaching in the moment and engaging directly with clients and VICs.
  • Build a strong culture of clienteling, networking, CRM excellence, and long-term relationship development.
  • Partner with Client Relations and cross-functional teams to execute events and activations that strengthen client engagement and brand awareness.
  • Resolve escalated client situations with professionalism, empathy, sound judgment, and a commitment to protecting the relationship.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, inspire, coach, and develop the store team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.
  • Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain top luxury retail talent while building a strong internal and external talent pipeline.
  • Set clear expectations and provide timely, specific, and actionable feedback through regular coaching, performance conversations, and development planning.
  • Build bench strength through succession planning and deliberate development of future leaders.
  • Lead engaging daily briefings and team meetings that reinforce business priorities, product knowledge, company values, and recognition.

Operations & Store Excellence

  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and standards across scheduling, payroll, inventory, cash handling, shipping and receiving, loss prevention, compliance, and after-sales service.
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising to maintain exceptional presentation standards that reflect Moncler’s global brand image.
  • Safeguard company assets through strong operational controls and close partnership with Operations and Asset Protection.
  • Evaluate store processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, productivity, and the overall client experience.
  • Support product launches, leadership visits, special projects, and regional priorities with exceptional execution.

Cross-Functional and Brand Partnership

  • Partner with Regional Leadership, Human Resources, Retail Training, Operations, Merchandising, Planning, Visual Merchandising, Client Relations, Asset Protection, and Finance to drive store priorities.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Planning to optimize assortment, replenishment, inventory productivity, and commercial opportunities.
  • Serve as a visible Moncler ambassador, building relevant relationships within the local luxury retail and business community.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating Moncler’s values, professionalism, integrity, managerial courage, and commitment to excellence.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of evolving business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive luxury retail leadership experience, including experience managing a high-volume store or comparable business.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability and inclusion.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret KPIs, financial information, and client insights to drive profitable growth.
  • Expertise in luxury client experience, clienteling, CRM, and relationship development.
  • Strong operational judgment across merchandising, inventory, compliance, asset protection, payroll, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence across levels and functions.
  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced destination retail environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, POS, CRM, inventory management, and other retail technology systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.

Compensation and Benefits

The current estimated base salary range is $110,000 - $125,000 annually. The hired candidate will also be eligible for a quarterly bonus.

 

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 7 paid holidays, up to 120 hours of accrued vacation, 4 personal days, 2 community service days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

This range reflects the Company’s good-faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, business needs, experience, skills, and qualifications. For roles where pay disclosure is not required, compensation will be determined based on the same factors and discussed during the hiring process.
