IT Application Operations Team Leader (Circular economy)
Purpose of the POSITION:
To ensure the reliable and efficient operation of Circular Economy applications by leading the Application Operations team and driving operational excellence.
The role is responsible for service stability, continuous improvement, and the effective management of operational processes, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and project managers to support business objectives and successful service delivery.

Main responsibilities:
Team leadership and management
Coordinate Ops team members, assign and prioritize tasks, and regularly evaluate performance.
Support team members' professional development and foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
Resolve conflicts, maintain team motivation, and promote a positive, customer-focused culture.
Technical support
Ensure the stable and efficient daily operation of business applications.
Lead the resolution of issues escalated to the team and coordinate closely with development teams to address application defects and recurring problems.
Project delivery support
Represent Ops in project initiatives by providing operational expertise, resource planning, risk input, and deployment support.
Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure a smooth transition of new solutions and changes into operations.
Quality assurance and performance optimization
Proactively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures.
Monitor service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and oversee incident, problem, and change management activities.
Documentation and reporting
Maintain accurate operational documentation and knowledge bases.
Prepare regular operational reports and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
Communication and coordination
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant departments. Manage customer feedback, ensure effective stakeholder communication, and coordinate with external partners and vendors.
Management of operational tools and systems
Maintain and optimize operational tools and monitoring solutions.
Support the introduction, adoption, and integration of new technologies that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Budget and resource management
Support the planning and optimization of operational costs, resource allocation, and procurement activities to ensure effective service delivery and sustainable operations.
Main requirements:
University or College degree
Minimal of 5 years relevant experience in IT operations or production support, 3+ years of team leadership or people management experience
Experience operating business-critical enterprise applications
Strong incident, problem, and change management experience
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
Customer-focused, proactive, and continuous improvement mindset
