About this role

The Data Collection (DC) group provides data for all Mobileye technologies. The group manages a global fleet of experimental vehicles equipped with Mobileye sensors, from single-camera systems to advanced surround systems, as well as ground-truth systems such as LiDAR, radar, and INS. 

With teams in Israel, the US, and Europe, the DC group supports research and development by delivering diverse, high-quality datasets. 

You will join the Data Collection Engineers team, a versatile and dynamic team responsible for managing the vehicle's experimental systems, analyzing collected data, and delivering it for further insights.

\nWhat will your job look like?
  • Install, configure and bring up HW & SW of sensors and vehicle subsystems on operational platforms.

  • Develop automation and AI-based tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and improve engineering productivity. 

  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to improve reliability, performance, and readiness. 

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development and validation lifecycle. 

  • Lead field experiments to evaluate new hardware and sensor technologies and execute complex data collection scenarios. 

All you need is:
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 
  • 3+ years of experience in system or HW/SW integration. 
  • Experience working with complex multidisciplinary systems. 
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills. 
  • Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and productivity. 
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to have:
  • Experience with automotive systems, in-vehicle integration environments, or vehicle signals. 
  • Experience working with Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with cameras, radar, or LiDAR.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment and test environments.
  • Experience leading field experiments.
  • Experience with CAD systems, such as SolidWorks or similar tools.
