About this role

Mobileye is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our AV Platform group in Israel to design the next generation of autonomous driving systems.

\nWhat will your job look like:
  • Board design including High-speed interfaces and power design.
  • Work with PCB Layout Engineers for multilayer PCBs.
  • Define and accompany Si/Pi simulation activity and/or execute such simulations when required.  
  • Accompany Mechanical Design and Thermal/Mechanical simulation.
  • Execute Board Bring-up and take care of suitable test report documentation.
  • Prepare, HW/SW Interface documentation, as well as any HW manual board required.   
  • Lead complex debug, fault analysis activities, and find creative solutions.
  • Accompany Validation and automotive Qualification tests (DVT/PVT).
  • Direct communication with customers, suppliers, architects, project managers, and various stakeholders.
All you need is:
  • BSc Electrical / Electronic Engineering from a known institute, preferably a leading university.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience of HW Board Design involving high speed signals.
  • Strong system-level understanding.
  • Knowledge and experience in hands-on board debug.
  • Background with board-design tools (preferably Orcad).
  • Good SI/PI understanding in perspective of multi-layer PCB design.
  • Knowledge of operating laboratory equipment (such as Oscilloscope, Logic-Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA).
  • Team player with a very good interpersonal relationship.
  • Organized and detailed oriented.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Nice to have:
  • Experience in Automotive HW design.
  • Experience with EMC/Power design.
