Hybrid | San Diego, CA 

Compensation: $117,000 - $147,000 annually 

Actual compensation within this range will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and other job-related considerations permitted by law. 

 

As an AVP, Enterprise Risk Management, you won't just be identifying risks. You'll help shape how Mission Fed grows, innovates, and navigates the future. Think of yourself as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. You'll work closely with executives to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges before they happen, and help the organization make smart, confident decisions.

What You'll Do

  • As a subject matter expert, you'll help leadership understand where the organization faces risk and where opportunities exist, ensuring Mission Fed can continue growing responsibly and successfully.

  • This is a great opportunity to really have an impact on an organization and in an established Legal and Compliance Team for a well-respected, established credit union in San Diego County known for its community and member centered focus. 

What You'll Bring 

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk, audit, compliance, legal, or a related function within a regulated financial environment
  • Strong track record leading enterprise risk assessments and advising senior leadership
  • Experience influencing cross-functional initiatives and operating independently in complex environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • Relevant professional certification required (RIMS-CRMP preferred; FRM, PRM, CRCM, CRM, or similar accepted)
  • Credit union or financial services experience strongly preferred
