What You'll Do

As an Automotive Diesel Technician, you'll play a key role in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while delivering exceptional quality and productivity.

Responsibilities Include

Performing repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, drivability concerns, and vehicle systems
Utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and special service tools
Test-driving vehicles and evaluating vehicle systems and components
Diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems
Communicating repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
Providing accurate repair estimates and timelines
Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Coordinating with the Parts Department to obtain necessary components
Accurately documenting repair procedures and findings
Maintaining productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship
Keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Required

Valid Driver's License

3-5+ Years of Professional Automotive Technician Experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to consistently produce quality flat-rate hours
Commitment to excellence, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Preferred

Diesel repair experience
GM dealership experience
Manufacturer certifications
ASE certifications
