What You'll Do

As an Automotive/Transmission Technician, you'll perform advanced diagnostics and repairs while maintaining the highest levels of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including transmissions, engines, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems
Perform repairs according to Ford and dealership standards
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and special service tools
Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose concerns
Perform transmission diagnostics, repairs, rebuilds, and replacements
Communicate repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
Provide accurate repair timelines and repair documentation
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure timely vehicle repairs
Maintain productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

3-5+ Years of Professional Automotive Technician Experience Required

Transmission Technician Experience Required

Ford dealership experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with transmission repair, overhaul, and replacement

Valid Driver's License

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
Customer-focused, coachable, and committed to continuous improvement
