Job Description:

Omega CRM, a Merkle & Dentsu company, is a leading consultancy specialized in digital transformation and Customer Experience (CX) solutions. We help top-tier brands, educational institutions, and public sector organizations innovate, accelerate their business strategies, and build long-term relationships through advanced technology ecosystems and domain expertise.

As a Business Unit Director for Public Sector, Education & Non-Profit, you will serve as a strategic executive leader responsible for full P&L management within the assigned Business Unit. This role balances a 360° strategic business vision, a strong sales-driven mindset, and overall delivery excellence—leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, managing strategic vendor alliances (e.g., Salesforce), and expanding key accounts across government agencies, higher education, and non-profit organizations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Public Sector, Education, and Non-Profit industries.

  • Collaborate with Senior Managers and Managers within the Business Unit to achieve sales targets.

  • Track and follow up on business opportunities reported in the Partner Portal.

  • Ensure compliance with agreed objectives and the Omega-client promise.

  • Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives across assigned accounts.

  • Participate in Steering Committees for enterprise and key accounts.

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned client accounts.

  • Negotiate and close complex agreements with enterprise accounts and public institutions.

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, proactively proposing strategic improvements.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.

  • Conduct market research to identify new potential clients and business opportunities within the assigned verticals.

  • Manage relationships with software vendors (manufacturers) and represent Omega CRM in relevant industry events and forums.

  • Provide timely, viable, and effective solutions aligned with client needs.

  • Partner with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure Omega brand consistency.

  • Stay up to date with new product and service launches, ensuring the sales team remains informed.

  • Lead full P&L management for the Business Unit, ensuring business profitability, financial control, operational efficiency, and margin targets.

  • Direct and manage the complete customer lifecycle (Customer Journey Map), from commercial capture and technical presales (public tenders/RFPs, solution design, estimation, and C-Level presentations) to operational delivery and client success.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams within the Business Unit, overseeing career paths, resource allocation, and team utilization levels.

Requirements & Experience

  • Proven Experience: +5 years of proven experience in executive leadership, sales management, or business unit management roles, with +10 years of overall experience within consulting or technology sectors related to the Business Unit.

  • Sector Expertise: Deep domain knowledge and a proven track record managing business strategy, public procurement processes, RFPs/tenders, and digital transformation initiatives across Public Sector, Education, and Non-Profit organizations.

  • P&L & Financial Management: Proven track record in full P&L ownership, budget control, margin optimization, and managing business performance metrics.

  • Client-Facing & Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in client-facing roles, acting as a key point of contact to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions, empathetic to client needs, and ensuring an optimal commercial value proposition.

  • Consulting & Enterprise Accounts Background: Solid background in Business and/or Information Systems Consulting, managing and growing key enterprise accounts.

  • Ecosystem Expertise: Strong technical background in digital transformation ecosystems, Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud, Education Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, etc.), and AI integration strategies.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical/business field.

  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (C1 level minimum).

Desirable / Value-Add Skills (Pluses)

  • Experience with other Salesforce Clouds or complementary digital ecosystem platforms is highly welcome.

  • Proven track record leading and driving complex digital transformation projects in international environments.

  • Direct experience managing strategic vendor alliances, partner portals, and building strong relationships with Salesforce Account Executives (AEs).
