We are currently hiring Finishing General Workers for 2nd and 3rd Shift.

 

Pay & Benefits

Starting Pay - $20.26 per hour

  • 2nd Shift Differential: +$1.25 per hour
  • 3rd Shift Differential: +$1.85 per hour

The Finishing General Worker position is designed to develop future operators by providing hands-on experience in packaging, quality inspection, material handling, and machine support. Many of our operators and production leaders started in entry-level roles just like this one.

 

Safety & Quality

  • Safety is our #1 priority. Follow all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Actively participate in workplace safety, Lean Manufacturing, quality, product safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with all quality system requirements and job-related procedures.
  • Take precautionary measures established to prevent product mix-ups and ensure product integrity.

 

What You'll Do

As a Finishing General Worker, you'll support our finishing operations by helping ensure products meet our quality standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inspect and verify finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Separate acceptable product from non-conforming product before packaging
  • Prepare cartons and packaging materials for shipment
  • Verify quantities, labels, and customer order requirements
  • Stack and organize finished goods for safe storage and shipment
  • Supply production areas with materials as needed
  • Assist operators with roll handling and production support activities
  • Remove waste materials and maintain clean, organized work areas
  • Complete production documentation and quality checks
  • Support safety, quality, and productivity goals
  • Learn manufacturing processes and develop skills for advancement into operator-level positions

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Manufacturing or printing experience is helpful but not required
  • Basic computer, math, and reading skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and dependable

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and material handling
  • Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment
