About this role

Seeking an Assistant District Attorney to work in the Norfolk District Attorney’s Appeals Unit focusing on Public Records requests.

  • The primary function of this position is responding to records requests, including requests under the Public Records Law and subpoenas.

  • Other responsibilities may include drafting and arguing briefs and other post-conviction matters and researching and responding to time-sensitive legal questions, as well as trial assistance.

     



  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in Massachusetts.
  • At least 1+ year experience working with the criminal justice system.
  • Position based at main office in Canton. Must be able to travel to courts within the Commonwealth.

This is a full-time position based in Canton, MA.  While there is the possibility of one day of remote work each week, this is primarily an in-person position.
