We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in any of our Northeast office locations, including Boston, New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Philadelphia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant, you will:
Lead complex client engagements, managing the scope, quality, timeliness, and budget of multiple deliverables across medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits plans.
Guide teams in researching, analyzing, and evaluating benefit programs to develop innovative design and renewal strategies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and delivering strategic recommendations.
Provide high-level financial, contractual, and administrative analysis, including reviewing RFPs and preparing executive summary reports.
Delegate, mentor, and review work of junior staff, offering guidance and support to resolve challenges effectively.
Collaborate with key client stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth and facilitate client referrals.
Assist in the development of sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies, driving the creation of tools and solutions to address complex client issues.
Utilize strong financial acumen and advanced Excel skills to analyze data, build models, and support client decision-making.
We Will Count on You To:
Oversee complex client engagements, including service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies.
Manage consulting engagements with mid-market to large employers on their medical, dental, life, and disability benefit plans.
Negotiate with benefits carriers and vendors to secure optimal health and welfare plan coverage.

Be accountable for project success in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
What You Need to Have:
A BA/BS degree.
4+ years of experience identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing innovative business solutions for complex health care benefit plans.
Recognized expertise and a strong reputation in the health & benefits field.
Strong financial acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
