Marmot Basin is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to join our team for the upcoming season as a Parking Ambassador. This is a volunteer position with a commitment of 20 workdays, in exchange for a staff season pass with benefits. Volunteers will be on a permanent probation period for the duration of their work commitment.
Core Competencies:
Experience in the customer service industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Capable of working outside, including in severe weather conditions
Ski industry experience or any training in dealing with the general public
Role Summary:
Parking Ambassadors work with the Transportation team to maintain efficient traffic flow and parking in and around the Caribou Chalet, including the 15-minute drop-off area. You will assist guests by providing direction and support to ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.
Key Duties:
Ensure orderly flow of vehicles entering and leaving the ski area
Ensure vehicles are parked efficiently and safely in all designated areas
Provide information and direction to guests from a customer service perspective
Identify and report safety concerns and vehicle incidents to the Transportation Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor
Adhere to company policies, including the Employee Handbook, Transportation Training Manual, Harassment Policy, and Privacy Policy
