Project Coordinator

The Project:

Mace is seeking a Project Coordinator  to join the team for a Rail & Transit project in Toronto.

You'll Be Responsible For:

• Development and maintenance of readiness documentation, including the System Safety 

• Certification Strategy, System Definition Document, CPG Recommendation Reports, Risk 

• Assessment Completion Declarations, Panel Presentations and Hazard Record. 

• Planning, coordinating and attending readiness panels and submissions, including Safety 

• Review Panels (SRP), Operational Readiness Panels (ORP), Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) 

• Reviews and Safety Certification Committee (MSCC) activities. 

• Coordinating documented low and high-risk appraisals with the System Safety Assessor 

• (SSA) and ISA across project scope. 

• Supporting Readiness Control Board meetings and recurring readiness governance activities. 

• Coordinating with Project Delivery Teams to monitor readiness progress, update forecasts, manage interfaces and obtain required submissions. 

• Driving continuous improvement of readiness processes, governance, reporting and future planning activities to improve delivery efficiency and reduce programme risk. 

You’ll Need To Have:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field. 

• Demonstrated experience managing readiness, assurance, commissioning or operational handover activities on large infrastructure programmes. 

• Knowledge of rail, transit or transportation projects. 

• Experience coordinating safety assurance, certification and governance processes. 

• Experience preparing executive-level reports, presentations or readiness documentation. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate activities across multiple project teams and delivery partners. 

• Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Note: The estimated salary for this position is 90,000 - 140,000 CAD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
