Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship - St Catherines School

Apprenticeship Overview:
- Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
- Working Week: Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 3.30pm (1 hour lunch break)
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Duration: 18 months
- Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard qualification.

What you’ll do at work
Administrative support to Estates team
- Manage incoming emails, requests and administrative queries relating to estates and facilities
- Provide day to day administrative support to the Estates and Facilities Manager and Estates team
- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for estate documents
- Logging and processing maintenance request through the in-house system
- Coordinate diary management and meeting scheduling for estates related meetings
- Prepare meeting information, agendas and supporting documentation where required, and assist with recording and distributing relevant actions and information.

Training and Development
As an apprentice, you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:
- Study towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
- On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced school professionals.
- Regular review meetings to support progress and development.
- Training in school administration, finance systems, and education-sector processes.
