LKQ Canada is looking for a Delivery Driver to join its team!Starting salary: 21.50$/h

What are your responsibilities as a Delivery Driver?
- Complete all required safety checks and maintenance validations for your company vehicle (up to an 18-foot cube truck with a tail lift). All company vehicles are equipped with telematics cameras,
- Operate the company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner,
- Physically load the company truck at the branch and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made,
- At delivery destination, confirm order with customer, unload and verify product, obtain confirmation signature and payment from customer,
- Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch,
- Collect accounts receivable, as necessary,
- Work in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damage to products, and
- Assume other duties as assigned.
What is the profile we are looking for?
- Minimum one (1) year driving and warehouse operations experience,
- Possess a valid G driver's license WITH AIR BRAKE ENDORSEMENT and safe driving record,
- Knowledge of replacement parts for the collision repair industry desired,
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with the Company's warehouse and delivery methods, techniques, and procedures,
- Possess the ability to perform basic math calculations, effectively communicate with customers/peers/supervisors, and proficiently use smartphone and/or tablet, and
- Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
Job Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of replacement parts for the collision repair industry. Proficiency with smartphone and/or tablet to navigate mobile applications. Possess the ability to perform basic math calculations and effectively communicate on an interpersonal verbal basis.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing and ascending/descending stairs. Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time, while driving. It also requires frequent bending, climbing, movement and lifting of up to 50 pounds during physical loading/unloading of trucks and when stocking products.
