Here's The Role

The Project Management Office is seeking a Project Analyst to join our team! We are a team that leads with integrity and drives the successful execution of the LCRA transmission capital project portfolio while efficiently managing LCRA's resources. In this role, you will monitor the scope and oversee the schedule and budget of Transmission Line and Substation projects as they progress through scoping and into execution. You will receive valuable technical on the job training, all while focusing on safety as one of our key values. How You’ll Contribute

  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets based on a given scope of work.
  • Identify, monitor, and document variances and communicate project status and information to project managers and work package managers.
  • Assist with the entry of metadata and creation of purchase requisitions.
  • Provide financial analysis of project functions to ensure efficient operations remain within budget.
  • Resolve scheduling issues, resource conflicts, and cost and accounting structures, bringing up problems to the Project Manager as needed.
  • Set up and maintain files according to recordkeeping and records retention and documentation guidelines.

How You’re Qualified

  • Nine or more years of experience in project administration, project management, accounting, business analytics, data analysis, budget analysis or administrative support or other relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in project management, business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license

How You’ll Stand Out

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, PeopleSoft, and MS Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methods and concepts.
