| Salary £36,363-£40,777 Per annum | Fixed Term,  Full Time, until  31/03/2027, 37 hours per week | Commissioning & Contract Management |

Are you passionate about improving outcomes for local communities through high-quality commissioning and contract management? We're looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Adults, Health and Wellbeing Commissioning Team supporting across Strategy and Partnerships and Market Management.

You'll help shape, develop and improve adult social care services across Lancashire through commissioning, contract management, market development and service transformation. Working with providers, partners and stakeholders, you'll use data, insight and collaboration to deliver high-quality, sustainable services that improve outcomes for residents.

We are looking for someone who has experience in commissioning and/or contract management, has strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and analytical skills. Is knowledgeable about adult social care, health services or a related field and can manage multiple priorities and drive service improvement.

Local Government Reorganisation

The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised, with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North, South, East and West Lancashire from April 2028.

If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.

Throughout this period, our focus remains on delivering excellent services to our communities. By joining us now, you'll play an important role in shaping the future of local government and helping to build a strong new organisation that will serve residents for years to come.
