We are currently seeking a full-time Park Desk Clerk to work in the front desk division at Pine Mountain State Resort Park.

Pine Mountain is located 15 miles from Cumberland Gap National Park and the oldest state park in Kentucky. We are comprised of a hotel and lodge, cabins, cottages’, restaurant, convention center, 18-hole golf course, pool, natural amphitheater, picnic shelters, nature center and hiking trails.

Primary duties of the Park Desk Clerk Supervisor Position include but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintain public relations with guests and employees.
  • Work with other departments to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Receive, confirm, and cancel reservations of guests over phone and in-person.
  • Post charges and payments to guest accounts.
  • Check guests in and out in a friendly, efficient manner.
  • Answer guests’ inquiries on the phone and in person.

Working Conditions
Work is performed indoors in a state park setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
