Internal Communication Lead (d/f/m) - Parental leave cover

We are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Lead (m/f/d), to join us on a fixed-term basis (min. 12 months) as parental leave cover. As a part of the Kleinanazeigen  People Team you will shape and deliver our internal communications strategy, ensuring that employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with our business priorities during a key period.

You will work closely with senior leadership, People & Organisation, and cross-functional teams to drive impactful communication initiatives across the organization.

Who You Are:

• You bring 8+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field

• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution

• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior leadership

• Experience with change communication and navigating complex organizational environments, working in organizations with employee representation

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach

• Excellent writing and storytelling skills in English (German is a plus)

What You’ll Do:

• Own and execute the internal communications strategy in alignment with company goals for Germany and our Product & Tech Hub in Spain

• Report to our CHRO and partner with senior leadership to craft clear, compelling messaging and narratives

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on communication best practices

• Plan and deliver company-wide communications (e.g. all-hands, leadership updates, internal campaigns)

• Design and execute change communications, including organizational and strategic initiatives

• Measure employee engagement and contribute to follow-up initiatives

• Ensure consistency in tone of voice and messaging across all internal touchpoints

• Manage and continuously improve internal communication channels
