Manufacturing Specialist

Inpria, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for New Product Introduction from engineering to operations. The position serves as the central technical bridge between Engineering and Operations. The role plans and coordinates operational readiness; supports engineering runs and process demonstrations; develops and improves manufacturing documentation and training materials; trains and qualifies Operations personnel; and verifies that processes, equipment, materials, data systems, and staffing are ready for sustained production.

• Lead Operations support for assigned product introductions, scale-up, process changes, and production transfers.
• Identify readiness gaps in equipment, materials, capacity, staffing, training, documentation, data, safety, and quality; coordinate resolution with the appropriate teams.
• Establish handoff requirements with Engineering and Operations, including documentation, training, equipment and material readiness, process capability, and escalation paths.
• Support early production campaigns and resolve issues that prevent stable routine operation.
• Support MES/ERP implementation and use within manufacturing.
• Create and maintain controlled manufacturing documents, including process instructions, SOPs, batch records, work instructions, training materials, flow diagrams, checklists, and shift-handoff tools.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and EHS to implement approved changes through change control.
• Coordinate consistent, sustained, and documented cross-shift training with Supervisors and Technicians.
• Provide hands-on floor support during NPI, start-up, process changes, critical campaigns, and troubleshooting.
• Support deviation, nonconformance, process-excursion, recurring-issue, material-review, and CAPA investigations through technical observations, data, and corrective-action recommendations.
• Lead or participate in project meetings, readiness reviews, process walk-throughs, and production-handoff meetings.
• Perform other duties consistent with the role and business needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience.
• Ability to train, coach, and communicate effectively with hourly manufacturing teams and technical professionals.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and shared document-management systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to wear a respirator upon training/certification.
• Ability to wear standard cleanroom attire and PPE.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to move full 55-gallon drums with appropriate equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts, drum lifters, and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for data entry and analysis.
• 100% onsite position.
• Occasional overtime, weekends, and holiday support may be required.
