Project Management Supervisor – Solar
Orem, UT (on-site) • Full-time • $55,000 / year

ION Solar is hiring a Project Management Supervisor to lead our Special Services team in Orem — the group that handles the complicated parts of a solar installation: electrical service upgrades, third-party contractor coordination, and financing change orders.
When a project hits a snag, your team is who fixes it. And you’re who they come to first.
You don’t need solar experience to do this job well. If you’ve led a customer service, support, or operations team and you’re good at untangling messy situations and calming down frustrated people, we’ll teach you the solar side.
What you’ll actually do
Lead your team day to day — assign projects, track productivity, and keep the queue moving
Take the escalations your agents can’t resolve, and turn frustrated homeowners back into satisfied ones
Run quality reviews on your team’s work and coach agents one-on-one on what you find
Diagnose where the team is weak with your manager, then build the training that fixes it
Carry a small caseload of your own projects, so you never lose touch with the work your team does every day
Be the subject matter expert — for your agents, for sales reps, and for homeowners
Back your manager’s decisions and help roll out new processes to the team
Set the tone for a team culture people actually want to be part of
Other related duties as assigned
What we’re looking for
3+ years in customer service, support, or operations
Supervisory or team lead experience — preferred, not required. If you’ve been the unofficial go-to person on your team without the title, we want to hear from you
Someone who stays calm and professional when a customer isn’t
Strong verbal and written communication
Organized and detail-oriented, with the patience to follow a project through to the finish
Comfortable in Microsoft Office
High school diploma or equivalent

The details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. No nights, no weekends
Location: On-site at 44 E 800 N, Orem, UT 84057
Environment: Open-floor office, phone and computer based, fast-paced. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk; frequent talking and listening; occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, or lifting up to 20 lbs.
