Summary:

Receives, stores, organizes, and distributes products within the warehouse and supports safe truck court movement for loading and unloading operations. Daily tasks and priorities are assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager. 

Salary & Compensation:

• Base Pay: $21.00 / Hour.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed.
• Internal Referral Bonus: Employee referral bonus available for internal staff who refer hired candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Receiving, Storage & Distribution: Read sales orders, purchase orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials to storage or designated areas. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or drawers. 
• Order Preparation & Processing: Pull customer orders from stock, place them on pallets/shelves, and convey them to packing or shipping areas. Safely cut glass, mirror lites, and aluminum extrusions to customer specifications. 
• System & ERP Data Entry: Process receiving transactions, print invoices and shipping labels, and accurately record inventory activity in the ERP system. 
• Inventory Accuracy: Verify material quantities, dimensions, and condition during receiving and shipping. Report discrepancies, damage, or shortages immediately to supervisors. Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories. 
• Yard & Equipment Operation: Safely maneuver tractor-trailers, containers on chassis, yard mules, and boom trucks within the warehouse court/yard for loading/unloading when trained and authorized. 
• Safety & Maintenance: Report accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately. Maintain work areas clean, organized, and safe. Build or repair wood pallets as needed. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Forklift & Crane Rigging Certification preferred. 
• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate (or be trained/authorized to operate) yard equipment, including tractor-trailers, containers on chassis, yard mules, and boom trucks. 
• Languages: Ability to communicate in English or Spanish is required; bilingual English/Spanish communication is strongly preferred. 

Skills & Competencies:

• Careful reading, strong attention to detail, and effective coordination/communication with supervisors, drivers, and office teams. 
• Safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, and yard equipment. 
• Ability to construct or repair wooden pallets. 

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Work is performed in warehouse, loading/unloading, and truck court/yard areas around heavy equipment and traffic. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, push, pull, perform repetitive motions, and climb on/off flatbed trailers throughout the shift.
