This role is responsible for the development and delivery of new and enhanced Retail Wealth products and propositions, ensuring the business continues to respond to evolving customer expectations, market developments and strategic priorities. The role brings together customer insight, competitor analysis, and technology and vendor capabilities to shape the future proposition and translate opportunities into deliverable solutions. As an HSBC employee in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM) you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all employees, enhanced parental and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a non-contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In this role you’ll:

  • Lead the design and development of new Retail Wealth products and propositions.
  • Identify opportunities using customer insight, market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Own product enhancements and help shape the future Wealth proposition and roadmap.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support the assessment of external capabilities and partners.
  • Lead change delivery from initial concept through governance, implementation and adoption.
  • Own and continually improve relevant end-to-end customer journeys.
  • Ensure propositions deliver strong customer outcomes and are commercially viable and scalable.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong financial services experience, with deep Investment/Wealth product and proposition knowledge.
  • Relevant level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII, CISI, LIBF)
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to break down complex topics, identify trends, inconsistencies and root causes, and communicate these clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience leading, managing and coaching a team of business partners in a changing commercial environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build productive relationships with senior leaders and colleagues in a complex matrix environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive prioritisation decisions across competing demands.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.

Opening up a world of opportunity.
