We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Business Analyst - Project Management (Wealth/ Investment Products).

 

In this role you will: 

  • Capture, analyse and document business requirements; create epics, write user stories, and maintain/prioritise the product backlog with the Product Owner.
  • Translate business requirements and solution designs into detailed functional requirements to support build, testing and implementation.
  • Map and analyse end-to-end customer journeys and product functionality to identify experience improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Investigate operational issues and new opportunities; propose solution options with feasibility assessment (business, commercial, technical, delivery) and change impact.
  • Lead delivery of complex customer experience / digital enhancement initiatives from design through to release, managing scope, schedule, budget (where applicable) and quality.
  • Work with stakeholders across geographies (e.g., Product Owners, Process Designers, IT, Digital, Operations) to produce delivery estimates, align dependencies, and move work from analysis to delivery.
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies; remove delivery blockers and drive stakeholders to deliver on time and to required quality standards.
  • Produce and maintain project governance artefacts (e.g., project plans, status reporting, implementation checkpoints) and lead post-implementation reviews to track outcomes and benefits. 

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent relevant qualification/experience); comfortable working in an Agile environment with epics, user stories and backlogs.
  • Proven experience in business analysis and project/change delivery in banking (or regulated financial services), including requirements gathering, design and end-to-end implementation is a must.
  • Working knowledge of wealth/investment products and trade flows (e.g., funds, equities, bonds, structured products, FX) is an advantage.
  • Strong delivery capability across the delivery lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation), ensuring digital deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for release.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across regions; effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgement; able to structure issues, assess options, and drive decisions with appropriate documentation and controls.
