About this role

This role requires an experienced individual with solid industry and product knowledge, strong technical skills, knowledge of latest access control and video technologies with exceptional sales skills.  In this role, you will impact the company’s success by developing and executing effective channel sales strategies, managing top revenue-producing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with channel partners to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets within your assigned territories.  

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full ownership of all relationships with VARs, consultants, end-users, and channel partners within the assigned territory, managing channel sales activities to drive total product sales growth.
  • Develop and implement channel sales strategies and aggressive account growth plans to deliver on financial objectives and meet sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, providing product training, technical support, and guidance, including product demonstrations and participation in regional trade shows and product roadshows.
  • Lead contract negotiations, manage accounts, and own RFP responses and submittals within the local territory to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively within a matrix organization, working with sales, product management, engineering, and operations teams to provide customers with value and ease of doing business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop key sales competencies including prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen, and judgment to maximize success.
  • Hold yourself accountable for effective execution of key deliverables, metrics, and activities, maintaining clear communication with your Region Sales Director.
  • Provide strategic and market feedback to the business and manage execution of market strategic initiatives and programs.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in channel/territory sales or account management within the security access control and video industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and pipeline development.
  • Preferred candidate will have background selling OnGuard or Milestone products
  • Strong knowledge of channel sales strategies, partner relationship management, and the latest access control and video technologies.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools to monitor performance and forecast sales.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time within assigned territory.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Experience working within the security or access control industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and channel partners.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, engineering, and operations.
  • High energy and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

The salary range for this position is ($110000-140000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This role is INCENTIVE eligible
