About this role

As a Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the supply chain process to meet customer and business needs.

You will report directly to our Shipping and Receiving Manager and you’ll work out of our Olathe, KS location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and accuracy of the supply chain by ensuring all shipments and receipts are processed correctly and on time, supporting overall operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping and receiving efficiency.

Responsibilities

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 1+ year experience with SAP and related software tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems.
  • Proficiency with shipping documentation and compliance requirements.

WE VALUE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or logistics roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in shipping and receiving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with multiple departments.
