Coordinates activities related to machining production, deburr, and assembly. Troubleshoots machine issues. Ensures that safety, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate work assignments with crew chiefs
Discuss production issues with other departments to minimize delays
Assist crew members with troubleshooting and resolving issues
Ensure that all safety, quality, and delivery policies and procedures are followed
Monitor and manage the perishables expenses for the crew
Facilitate team building between crews and shifts
Mentor, coach, and motivate crew to maximize crew satisfaction, efficiency, and effectiveness
Track movement of parts through area
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
Model desired traits
Accept and adapt easily to change
Support all Company policies and procedures
Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement
Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation
Ability to make sound decisions regarding quality concerns and escalate issues appropriately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and customer requirements
Ability to identify and document nonconforming conditions and follow established quality procedures
Working knowledge of inspection methods, measuring equipment, and basic dimensional inspection
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions

QualificationsRequirements

High School diploma or GED preferred
5+ years of experience with multi-axis single or multi-spindle CNC machining, including at least 1 year of experience as a supervisor
US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance)
Language: Read, write, and speak English fluently
Math: Proficient with basic shop math
Sense of urgency
Ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines
