What you´ll do
- Provides technical support to the production team and operators in the day-to-day operation of the production lines.
- Executes engineering activities based on engineering designs, technical specifications and production requirements, translating them into effective plant processes.
- Supports production transfers, production trials and the implementation of new or modified processes.
- Sets up and adjusts complex production equipment according to manufacturing and technical specifications.
- Works closely with external contractors and suppliers, defining technical requirements and ensuring the quality of delivered services and products.
- Supervises product specifications and ensures compliance with technical requirements and applicable aerospace industry standards.
- Identifies, proposes and implements technical improvements and process optimization initiatives to increase efficiency and performance.
- Monitors engineering processes and relevant KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensures proper follow-up and implementation of technical guidelines and engineering standards.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical developments, technologies and trends within the area of expertise.
What makes you a good fit
- Place of work: Montornes del Valles (production plant Aerospace)
- Availability to work in rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night)
- University degree in Chemistry, Material or Chemical Engineering
- 1-2 years of experience in chemical processes
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Proactive, adaptable and resilient, with strong communication skills.
- Autonomous and decisive, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Interested in production and industrialization processes, and lab test validation
- Knowledge in quality standards will be valued
- High command of MS Office package
