Havtech is looking for Summer Interns!
Havtech is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest and most experienced commercial HVAC equipment, building automation, service, and energy solutions provider. Havtech represents 100+ manufacturers in HVAC Equipment and Building Automation for both commercial and industrial markets.
WHAT WILL YOUR INTERNSHIP CONSIST OF?
- Gaining experience from a network of skilled Applications Engineers in Estimating, in Applied Equipment, Hydronics Sales, and/or Air Distribution; developing knowledge of represented manufacturers and Havtech’s competitive advantage.
- Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals; introduction to relevant systems, industry standards, and the submittal process for bids.
- Providing technical support for our sales teams and customers while gaining valuable experience choosing product selections and creating proposals and pricing summaries.
- Collaborating with the Estimating Operations Leader and Estimating on projects to coordinate activities.
QUALIFICATIONS include the following:
- Bachelor’s degree currently in progress in Mechanical Engineering or other related areas.
- Interest in the HVAC industry and a potential HVAC-related career track.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Web-enabled applications.
- Ready to learn and volunteer to assist others.
- Demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior in a team environment.
- Excellent math aptitude.
- Possess time management skills and the ability to follow up.
- Junior and senior level students are strongly preferred, but a class level is not required.
