About this role

As a Working Student in the Trade Management IRT Europe team, you will assist in shaping pricing strategies, analysing key performance indicators and improving product offerings. You will maintain revenue and tender catalogues while developing innovative tools and automation solutions to streamline daily processes and enhance profitability.

Responsibilities

  • You will be involved in developing pricing guidelines, considering contribution margins, imbalances, and utilization of ship systems
  • Do you enjoy structured analysis? Perfect! Within our team, you will analyse performance indicators for pricing guidelines with the aim of maximizing profits
  • Together with the team, you will develop potential improvements for product optimization in terms of cost and competition assessment as well as market observation
  • Maintaining the revenue and tender catalogues is part of our daily routine in which we need your assistance
  • Additionally, you assist in the review to optimize processes to improve efficiency and simplify our daily work by developing innovative tools using macros, automation and AI

Qualifications

  • You are currently studying a maritime-related subject or, alternatively, business administration, logistics, transport management, industrial engineering or a comparable degree program with  availability of approximately 12 months
  • A high degree of initiative and commitment
  • You find it very easy to structure and prioritize your tasks and have a hands-on mentality 
  • You have a strong process-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office, and your excellent knowledge of Excel has served you well so far - perhaps it will soon serve you well with us too!
  • Preferably advanced skills in macro, automation and AI tools, combined with strong analytical abilities
  • You enjoy working in a team and have very good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
