About this role

As a Working Student in our Global BCO Management department, you will be an integral part of our Key Account team, which focuses on selected direct customers. Your role will involve a range of commercial and administrative tasks, allowing you to gain valuable insights into the world of international sales and customer management. With our support and a flexible work arrangement, you can balance your studies and work life effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing rate quotations and rate agreement filings for our customers
  • Create and maintain regular reports for the Key Account team and our direct customers
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required and collaborate with the team to request ship allocations for our customers
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of customer records
  • Provide administrative support for customer inquiries and requests
  • Assist in analyzing customer trends and preferences to inform business decisions
  • Help with contract management and ensure compliance with agreed terms
  • Support the team in maintaining strong customer relationships and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a relevant fulltime Bachelors or Masters program, preferably in Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in international sales, customer management, and logistics
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, as well as willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
