About this role

 

The IT Supervisor supports the users with process and user application system knowledge.

Responsibilities

Main Tasks

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop IT support staff. 

  • Purchase of all IT related products (getting the Quotes and coordinating with Vendors).

  • Support the users with process and user application system.

  • Review & Audit System Access Rights.

  • Backup arrangement for Lease Line, Electricity (genset / ups), IGM Software, CCTV, Payroll Package software & Door Access.

  • Ensure adequate Generator & UPS Support.

  • Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and consultants.

  • Supporting Contact Center.

  • Provide Area support with respect to LAN, WAN and software related issues.

  • Ad hoc set up of IT equipment for training per user’s request.

  • PC user support (software & hardware)

  • Ensure smooth running of systems/servers.

  • Ensure all the IT related equipment is under maintenance and ensured.

  • Prepare and Maintain BCP (including testing and fire drills).

  • Accurate Asset Tagging.

  • Monthly Asset Inventory Reconciliation and Certification

  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and controls.

  • Monitor security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

  • Support compliance with company standards, audit requirements, and data protection regulations.

  • Assist in planning and implementing IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Coordinate system deployments, migrations, and technology enhancements. 

  • Track project progress and ensure timely delivery.

  • Allocate workloads, monitor performance, and provide coaching. 

  • Conduct training to enhance team skills and knowledge. 

  • Foster a customer-focused and service-oriented culture.

     

Qualifications

Industry Knowledge

  • 3-5 years of industry experience including supervisory or team leadership role.

  • Apprenticeship / trained in office management or similar qualification.

  • Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and user support environments.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, logistics, retail, or corporate environments is an advantage.

  • Awareness of data quality importance & security

  • Good knowledge of user application systems, hardware and software

  • Working knowledge & systems support optimization

  • Ability to promptly process data and request under pressure
