About this role

The Junior Customer Service Coordinator supports daily customer service operations by handling booking requests, customer enquiries, documentation, and shipment-related follow-up. The role works closely with customers, GSC, feeder operators, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment handling and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Process booking requests, amendments, and generate timely booking confirmations with complete details.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints, and provide appropriate support and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with BKK office, GSC, feeder operators, and other relevant parties on shipment-related matters.
  • Follow up on shipping instructions and required customer documentation.
  • Support AMS/ACI self-filer verification and ensure compliance with Advance Manifest requirements.
  • Coordinate manifest submission with feeder operators.
  • Monitor detention/demurrage, overdue containers, and un-invoiced shipments, and follow up for timely invoicing.
  • Support the release of Export/Import documents, including BL, SWB, and DO, and issue receipts where required.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other customer service-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Shipping, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of Export/Import shipping processes and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and different internal/external stakeholders.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in the shipping and logistics industry.
