Position Summary You will join a production team through an alternance (work-study) program in France. You will learn to operate and monitor automated manufacturing lines while working closely with production, maintenance, quality and safety colleagues. We seek a curious, practical and methodical candidate who asks questions and suggests improvements. This role offers hands-on training, clear responsibilities and a chance to grow technical skills while helping GSK unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Operate and monitor automated production lines following standard procedures and the production schedule. - Perform start-up, in-process and end-of-run checks and record results to maintain traceability. - Detect process deviations, apply first-line corrective actions and escalate issues when needed. - Carry out cleaning, level-1 maintenance and basic equipment set-up tasks. - Support investigations and suggest improvements to increase reliability and efficiency. - Enter production and maintenance data in IT systems and prepare simple reports. This position is on-site in France and requires regular presence at the production site. Work may include shift patterns depending on the site. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Enrolled in an alternance program (work-study) at Bac+3 to Master level in process engineering, bioproduction, pharmaceutical engineering, chemistry, or a related field. - Interest in industrial production and regulated work environments. - Basic knowledge of process operation, maintenance or industrial automation. - Fluent in French, both written and spoken. - Comfortable with standard office software and basic production IT systems. - Available to work on-site in France with flexible hours as required by production schedules. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Previous internship or practical experience in pharmaceutical or industrial production. - Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). - Familiarity with industrial automation, PLCs or supervision systems (HMI/SCADA). - Experience with maintenance or production management systems (GMAO/GPAO/ERP). - Understanding of continuous improvement methods (Lean, 5S, Kaizen). - Willingness to work shift patterns if required by the site. Work arrangement On-site in France. Regular presence at the production site is required. The alternance contract combines formal education and practical, paid experience at the site.
