Raw Material and Tolling Planner - Budapest (Hungary) - Your future position?

Overall mission:

Ensure raw material and packaging material availability, in the right quantity, quality to support both internal production and external tolling operations.

Manage the planning process for tolling operations, ensuring daily scheduling and coordination of raw materials and finished goods for efficient production and delivery.

Monitor and optimize inventory levels, including SLOB, and maintain accurate raw material master data, escalating any change that risks availability or inventory targets.

Partner with the relevant GBS functions, tolling manufacturers and partners to maximize supply chain efficiency.

You will be located in Budapest and report to the Regional Tolling Manager.

You will:

• Check daily Material Requirements Plan (MRP) results on raw material requirements
• Make sure that all raw materials and packaging materials are available in the right quantity and quality
• Release, handle, update and monitor Raw Material Purchase Requisitions, based on the MRP
• Monitor Raw Material Purchase Orders / Stock Transfer Orders issued by GBS Buying, and initiate modification if necessary
• Manage urgent raw material requests: express orders, expedited deliveries, and changes to transport mode or quantity
• Follow up Quality Notifications with QC and GBS Buying, managing stock to avoid raw material shortages
• Manage the planning process for tolling operations, ensuring daily scheduling and management of raw materials and finished goods
• Capture, analyze and update demand forecasts in the system (DP toolkit) to improve forecast accuracy and minimize production costs
• Resolve shortages through efficient scheduling, maintaining appropriate inventory levels while optimizing service levels

You:

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• APICS certification or project management experience
• 2 or more years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing operations or raw material planning, with exposure to tolling or external manufacturing
• Fluency in English (written and oral form)
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP ECC & BI)
• Knowledge of production planning and inventory management principles, and a basic understanding of financial statements
• Comfortable using Excel (can perform complex functions) for ad hoc data analysis
