Who are we looking for?
We’re looking to expand our team of Resident Project Representatives in Scranton, PA. As an RPR, you'll play a critical role in delivering essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects that directly support local communities. In this highly visible field-based position, you'll serve as GHD's on-site representative, providing construction observation and contract administration support for water and sewer main utility projects, as well as treatment facility improvements. Working closely with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project teams, you'll help ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements while maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect from GHD.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Provide on-site observation of water and sewer main construction; on-site observation also includes limited civil, piping, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and controls construction associated with water and wastewater treatment facility modifications
- Perform operational and administrative data collection and analysis while maintaining appropriate reports and records
- Represent GHD to clients, regulatory agencies, the public, and other interested parties
- Assist with shop drawing reviews
- Field verification of conformance with contract documents
- Document information to prepare record drawings
- Assist with contract close-out documentation
What you will bring to the team:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience in construction observation and/or construction management which including water and sewer main utility construction
- Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, Procore. Must be comfortable with basic computer skills, including email, utilizing apps, etc.
- Willing and able to travel throughout the state of PA
