No tools are required to start. Every tool needed for Quick Lane service work is already provided.

Once experience grows, an annual tool reimbursement of up to $500.00 helps cover new equipment as more advanced repair work comes into reach!

A defined path runs from this first day on the job to Master Certified Technician, built entirely through Volkswagen's own training program. No tech school tuition or student loans required, just time, effort, and the willingness to keep learning.

Role Pay Training focus

Lube Technician $18 to $20 per hour Volkswagen brand fundamentals, safety systems, repair order basics

Certified Technician $21 to $24 flat rate VW scan tools and diagnostic systems

Electrical Specialist $25 to $27 flat rate Electrical diagnosis and climate control systems

Engine Specialist $27 to $29 flat rate Engine mechanical repair and TDI diesel engines

Transmission Specialist $30 to $32 flat rate Automatic and manual transmission repair

Chassis Specialist $33 to $34 flat rate Alignment, driver assistance systems, body and chassis

High Voltage Technician $35 to $37 flat rate ID.4 and electric vehicle systems

High Voltage Expert $38 to $40 flat rate MEB battery repair

VW Master Certified Technician $41 to $43 flat rate Top certification level in the shop

Qualifications:

• Automotive Service Technicians must be polite, professional, team player and must have strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• a valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, drug test and motor vehicle report is required.
