Wealth Specialist JOB SUMMARY:
The Wealth Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to client advisors and bank offices by managing client communication, processing financial transactions, and opening new accounts. This role requires maintaining accurate client documentation, preparing business reports, and assisting with marketing events while ensuring strict compliance with firm regulations and banking laws.
Wealth Specialist ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
* Services a high volume of daily interactions, including basic inquiries and scheduling of meetings, with prospective and existing clients on the phone, in-person, virtually and through mailings.
* Opens new clients accounts and research client information using internal databases and other technologies.
* Maintains and meets firm and industry requirements, ensures client paperwork and documentation is accurate and correct prior to submission and processing. Follows up to ensure accurate completion.
* Maintains policy and procedure manuals for the department, as well as assist the operations department in updating policy and procedure manuals as needed.
* Prepares letters, forms and reports to assist with servicing existing client and prospecting for new clients.
* Prepares various business summary reports and client specific reporting as needed for review by the client advisor and/or compliance.
* Creates and maintains records and files utilizing Client Relationship Management software.
* Attend various training and continuing education seminars to increase job knowledge and stay abreast of regulation changes.
* Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
* Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Thorough knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
Thorough knowledge of banking account maintenance and financial transaction procedures.
Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize in high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Equivalent Education/Experience
High School diploma or degree in business, finance, or related field.
2-4 years' experience in financial services.
