About the Role

The Office of AI at Gap Inc. is seeking a Manager, Product Journey to own a defined portion of the Indigo X execution roadmap. The role provides dedicated delivery leadership within the Product Journey as its scope expands across product and marketing-related AI opportunities.

You will translate journey priorities into executable work, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure initiatives move from concept through testing and delivery with clear outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Own delivery of a defined portion of the Indigo X roadmap.

  • Translate Product Journey priorities into clear initiative plans, milestones, owners, and outcomes.

  • Coordinate product, business, technology, data, and other partners required to move initiatives forward.

  • Manage day-to-day execution, dependencies, decisions, risks, and follow-through.

  • Support prioritization of opportunities based on expected business value, feasibility, readiness, and strategic alignment.

  • Define objectives and success measures for pilots and test-and-learn initiatives.

  • Prepare initiatives for relevant review and stage-gate decisions.

  • Capture learnings from pilots and recommend whether initiatives should iterate, scale, or stop.

  • Communicate progress, outcomes, and risks to Product Journey and Office of AI leadership.

Who You Are

  • Experienced product, innovation, strategy, or program leader with a strong execution orientation.

  • Ability to translate broad strategic priorities into concrete roadmaps and delivery plans.

  • Skill coordinating multidisciplinary teams without requiring direct authority over every contributor.

  • Strong problem solver who can manage ambiguity while maintaining delivery momentum.

  • Comfort evaluating emerging technology through a business-value lens.

  • Effective communicator with both business and technical audiences.

  • Experience establishing success measures and using evidence to inform next-step decisions.

  • Strong collaborator who can work across product, marketing, technology, and other functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI, emerging technology, digital product development, or innovation programs.

  • Familiarity with retail product creation, merchandising, marketing, or creative workflows.

  • Experience operating test-and-learn programs or taking pilots toward scale.

  • Familiarity with Agile or product-delivery practices.
