Role Details

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to manage and develop the University’s core systems for income and debtor management to meet the needs of the University.

You will work with a range of stakeholders to develop and enhance non-student financial systems – Starrez, Systopia and Fidelo. You will also take oversight of

the debtors and income reporting in both the management and statutory accounts including key reconciliations.

You should have an accounts background and experience of working with the SUN accounting system (or equivalent). You should have also have experience with student records systems (such as SITs) and knowledge of intra-company accounting including journal preparation and reconciliations. You should be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively and show initiative. You’ll also be able to manage competing and conflicting priorities effectively, whilst maintaining a calm demeanour.

Whilst we offer flexible and hybrid working across the University, you will be required to work on-campus at least 2-3 days per week.
