Full Stack Developer – React & AWS

Role Overview
Builds responsive, high-quality React front-ends for the underwriting platform, while supporting backend services and integrations using AWS and scripting technologies.
Experience Profile
- 8–9 years of IT experience in React/full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience in React UI development, with exposure to backend development and cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, accessible and high-quality UI using React based on designs and requirements.
- Integrate React applications with backend, AI and REST APIs.
- Develop and support backend services using AWS Lambda, SQS, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
- Develop scripts and lightweight backend services using Node.js or Python.
- Manage application state, performance and API interactions.
- Write clean, testable and reusable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot application, API and integration issues across frontend and backend layers.
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead, Business Analyst and backend/AI developers.
- Onsite developer coordinates closely with the client and offshore counterpart.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
- Good understanding of React hooks, state management, reusable components and frontend performance.
- Experience with REST APIs and API integration.
- Working experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
- Scripting/backend development experience using Node.js or Python.
- Experience with component/unit testing and debugging.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle, Git and code review practices.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Experience with AWS serverless architecture.
- Design-system/component-library experience.
- Exposure to AI/ML service integration.
- Basic UX sensibility and accessibility awareness.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
