Basic Qualifications
The NextGen Operator – Nuclear Operations Development Program is a structured, multi-year, part-time development role designed to build future nuclear operations talent through progressive training, plant exposure, and operations-focused learning. This role is intended for high-performing engineering students and is designed as a direct pathway into long-term nuclear operations careers. Unlike a traditional summer internship, this role is structured as a year-round, part-time position integrated with the student's academic schedule. The program is designed to support degree completion while maintaining consistent development against defined learning milestones. Turkey Point Nuclear Plant, will provide NextGen Operators with exposure to plant systems, safe and reliable operations, and fleet operating standards within a structured development environment.
